An afternoon in a deeply nurturing atmosphere, creating conscious rest and support for your whole system.

A treat for your nervous system and a boost for your immune system. A sensual experience with aromatherapy oil to calm the senses, a grounding Yoga practice, a visual journey, head massage, restorative yoga and yoga nidra.

Theme: Support

The theme for this workshop is ‘support’ – discovering what that means to you personally, and developing the feeling and sensation of support in our own bodies.

During the restorative section you are supported with bolsters and yoga props, covered with blankets and eye pillows to encourage the healing process and support your body and mind. You will move through 3-4 postures which can last between 5 and 20 minutes. There is no strain on your body. The environment created is still, quiet, dark and warm – the perfect conditions for the nervous system to reach new depths of relaxation. At times you will rest in total silence and at other times you will be guided with relaxing meditations including Yoga Nidra (Yoga sleep), visual imagery and inspiring readings.
