one to one yoga

Rachael teaches one to one Yoga for individual needs. She has worked with clients with Multiple Sclerosis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, undergoing Cancer treatment, and supporting emotional wellbeing, as well as those in good health wanting to improve strength, flexibility, and relax and reduce stress.

Her style is traditional Hatha Yoga with influences from body healing therapies such as Feldenkrais and Thomas Hannah Somatics, and promotes mindfulness for mental wellbeing. Rachael is trained in Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra – both of which promote profound rest and can be weaved into a normal session, or be the predominant practice if appropriate.

Weekly sessions

When we work together, we will discuss your physical health, mental well-being and if it feels relevant to you, whatever is current in your life. Our energy, moods, relationships, work/life balance etc all ebb and flow, and as such your yoga practice should adapt and support it. We will catch up at the beginning of each session to see what your needs are.

Need a few sessions

If you need a block of sessions to focus on something specific, we will discuss in detail beforehand and over the course, develop a practice that works for you. When we’ve finished working together I will provide you with a written plan to enable you to continue practicing.

Beginners sessions

If you’re a complete beginner wanting to join a class, a 121 is a great introduction to Yoga and will give you confidence when you come to the class. You’ll learn how to breath to promote health and vitality, some of the main postures and understand how to move with your breath, mindfulness and relaxation techniques. About 3 sessions is usually enough.


One to one sessions are great for:

  • building strength and flexibility
  • deep relaxation
  • reduce stress, anxiety
  • working with psychological and emotional issues
  • Chronic Fatigue, Hypothyroidism and other energy depleting problems
  • recovering from illness

Cost & Cancellation:

– Sessions are 1 hour 15 mins, cost £45 and take place at your home
– 24 hour notice period to cancel or re-arrange. Notice within 24 hours will require full payment
