During this course we’ll focus on gentle, mindful movement, mostly floor based with some standing work, to awaken your spine, release habitual tension and gently create strength. Breathing practices and relaxation techniques will help to restore energy, reduce stress, improve sleep and add to your general feeling of well-being.
You will learn to use diaphragmatic breathing to encourage a relaxed state of being, and to use your breath effectively in movement. Each class will end with a Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep).
Suitable for anyone who is looking for a gentle and relaxing practice, and those returning to exercise. You do not need to have practiced Yoga before to attend this class.
